As we continue through the Gospel of Luke this year, Pastor Kevin begins a new sermon series today entitled "Courageous Simplicity".  The way of Jesus is found, not through seeking political power, but in simple, everyday acts of courageous peacemaking, hospitality, and healing.

Why is it that humans tend to form into groups and begin to become suspicious and even hateful toward people in other groups?  Pastor Ruben finishes this series entitled The Outsiders by talking about how Christ like love and compassion breaks barriers.

As Pastor Kevin continues this series entitled, The Outsiders, he tackles the subject of denial and demons.  Denial makes us an outsider from even ourselves and can drive us to destructive behavior that alienates us from others.  How can we, as the Body of Christ, be more like Jesus, helping to return people to their true selves, clothed and in their right minds.

In this third sermon in a series titled, "The Outsiders", Pastor Kevin shares that when we learn to see Jesus who loves and forgives much, we learn to see everyone, including ourselves, as those in need of much love.  It is then that we begin to give what we need.

Pastor Kevin talks about being openly sad can cause one to be an outsider in this culture.  How can the church be different?  How can it be a safe place to be sad?  To find the answer, we need to look to Jesus.

As we begin a new sermon series in the Gospel of Luke called, THE OUTSIDERS, Pastor Maressa Jaikumar explores who's in and who's out of God's "in crowd".  The answer may surprise you. 

When we open the door of our hearts to Christ, that door stays open to others, including those we may find it difficult to love.

As Pastor Kevin wraps up his Easter Season sermon series entitled, The Very Same Power, he reminds us that the power of the Holy Spirit is disruptive.  God's Holy Spirit often gives us the opportunity within disruptive moments to move from our own success oriented building projects to living lives of spiritual significance.

On this Mother's Day which is also Ascension Sunday, pastor Kevin shared a very special message as he "team preached" with his mom.  His mom appears on video from a message she gave a few years ago before she developed Alzheimer's Disease.  This is a special message of hope beyond grief.

The love of God is not limited by our boundaries. Pastor Kevin challenges us to jump into the river of that love no matter where it takes us.
